Hi, I'm João Matos
I'm a Human Design Coach and BG5 Business Consultant. As a 5/1 Projector, sharing knowledge and helping you become the best version of yourself is part of my own design.
My story
I have always been curious about people
Born and raised in Setúbal, it was between street football games and scribbles on paper that I began to observe human behaviour with curiosity. From early on I noticed I had a strong intuition (thanks to my defined Spleen) and a natural empathy that let me pick up the unique details of each person (undefined Solar Plexus). Human Design simply gave a name and a logic to what I have always done and always been.
In the transition to adult life, I went through challenges that led me to explore different paths. I started in the Army, where I learned self-discipline and resilience, but my thirst for knowledge and for connection with people led me to leave and move into hospitality. There, constant contact with different cultures and personalities kept feeding my passion for understanding human behaviour.
At the end of 2018 I discovered Human Design while looking for yet another self-development tool. I quickly realised this was the missing piece, the most complete tool I have ever found to understand myself and others.

Today, I am
With my Channel 43-23, I am naturally drawn to out-of-the-box ideas and I like to go deep into any topic that sparks my interest. So I furthered my studies with leading references in Human Design:

My philosophy
What moves me
Self-development has always been a pillar of my life. Beyond continuous study, I seek balance between mind, body and soul through yoga, meditation and swimming. When I am not curled up in a blanket devouring a book, I love walking and exploring new flavours in restaurants.
Human Design helped me accept myself as I am and reduce the resistance I used to meet in life. Today I understand my role in the world as an intuitive guide (Projector), and nothing makes me happier than sharing this tool with you.
