Hello! I’m João Matos, a Human Design Coach and BG5 Business Consultant. As a 5/1 Projector, sharing knowledge and helping each person reach the best version of themselves is part of my own Design.
My Journey
Born and raised in Setúbal, it was between street football games and doodles on paper that I began observing human behavior with curiosity. Early on, I realized I had strong intuition (thanks to my defined Spleen) and a natural empathy that allowed me to pick up on the unique details of each person (undefined Solar Plexus). Human Design simply gave a name and structure to what I had always done and always been.
As I transitioned into adulthood, I faced challenges that led me to explore different paths. I started out in the military, where I learned self-discipline and resilience, but my thirst for knowledge and genuine connection with people eventually led me to leave and pursue a career in hospitality. In that environment, the constant contact with different cultures and personalities continued to fuel my passion for understanding human behavior.
It was at the end of 2018 that I discovered Human Design, while searching for yet another self-development tool. I quickly realized this was the missing piece — the most complete tool I had ever found to understand both myself and others.
Training and Specialization
With my 43-23 Channel, I am naturally drawn to out of the box ideas and I enjoy going deep into any topic that sparks my interest. That is why I have deepened my studies with leading references in Human Design:

My Philosophy
Personal development has always been a pillar in my life. Alongside continuous study, I seek balance between mind, body, and soul through yoga, meditation, and swimming. When I’m not wrapped in a blanket devouring a book, I enjoy walking and exploring new flavors in restaurants.
Human Design helped me accept myself as I am and reduce the resistance I used to experience in life. Today, I understand my role in the world as an intuitive guide (Projector), and nothing brings me more joy than sharing this powerful tool with you.
