November 2026 Transits in Human Design

Your grandmother used to cut bread with the knife turned toward her chest and her thumb as a rest. Nobody ever taught you to do it that way, and still, a few days ago, you caught yourself repeating that same gesture at your own kitchen table.

November opens with All Saints’ Day, and you will probably think of someone who is no longer here, by a grave with flowers or at home, in front of an old photograph. These are days when you recognise yourself, with some surprise, in the ways of those who came before you.

The November transits in Human Design start from exactly this place. The Sun entered Gate 44 in the early hours of October 31, and this is the Gate that recognises patterns and learns from what you have already lived. From there, week after week, the sky brings you from the past into the present moment, which arrives with the Full Moon of November 24 in Gate 20, the Gate of the now.

Halfway through there is a turning point. In the first half of the month, the November transits stir what you see and what you create. From the 16th onwards, the Sun moves through Gates of the Sacral Center, the source of life force, and the question shifts to where you are putting your energy. Between one half and the other, Mercury and Venus station direct, on November 13 and 14, after weeks of reviewing conversations, relationships and choices with you.

How to read the November transits in your Chart

Imagine walking into a room where music is playing. The music is the same for everyone there, and even so, some songs get your feet moving while others you barely hear. Transits work in a similar way. The Sun and the planets pass through the same Gates whatever your Chart looks like, and the effect they have on you depends on it.

In your Chart, the Gates are the numbers beside each center. When a Gate is colored in, that energy has been part of you since birth and you have a steady way of living it. When it is white, the energy reaches you from outside, and that is where transits are felt most intensely, because you have no fixed reference for it.

Each Gate has a partner on the other side of the line that connects two centers, called its harmonic Gate. When both are active at the same time, the line is colored from one end to the other and forms a Channel, a complete connection between those two centers. The Sun and the Earth only manage this on their own a few times a year, and November has two of these windows back to back. During those days you live the energy of the Channel even if it doesn’t exist in your Chart.

October 31 to November 5: what you inherited

The Sun entered Gate 44 on October 31 at 01:08, and the Earth entered Gate 24. Gate 44 sits in the Splenic Center, the center of instinct, and has a special nose for patterns. It looks at what happened before and senses where things are heading. It works with situations and with people too, and this week it turns toward your own story.

Perhaps you’re at a Sunday lunch when you hear your mother say a sentence that used to irritate you at fifteen. This time the irritation gives way to a discovery, because you notice that you say it too, word for word, to the person closest to you. Or you catch yourself choosing, once again, the same kind of boss or relationship that has already worn you out.

This Gate puts the pattern in front of your eyes so you can learn from it. Your history becomes a guide for showing up differently today, and what you have already lived can help you imagine a better future than the one you know. When you sense that something is off with a person or a situation and can’t explain why, pay attention. Instinct is the oldest intelligence your body has.

In Gate 24, the Earth gives you a mind that ponders. You’ll turn the same subject over at night before sleep, or in the car on the way to work, without getting anywhere. Until, at some ordinary moment, clarity arrives. What helps is giving your thinking time, without forcing it to a conclusion, and letting the answer come when it’s ready.

On November 3, Mercury, still retrograde, also returns to Gate 44 and stays there until the 8th. It’s natural for family conversations to go back to old themes. If one of them touches a wound, listen to what your body tells you before you answer.

November 5 to 11: what is yours alone

On November 5 at 15:59, the Sun enters Gate 1 and the Earth enters Gate 2. After a week spent looking at what you carry from the past, the November transits ask you what you bring that is new.

Gate 1 sits in the G Center, the center of identity and direction, and it is the most creative energy in the Chart. This creativity goes well beyond art. It speaks of the wish to do things your own way, whether that’s a project you’ve kept for years or a recipe you no longer make the way your grandmother did.

There is a side of this Gate worth knowing. When life becomes repetitive, its energy wilts and can bring a melancholy that is hard to explain. This is part of the creative cycle. Some things need to end so there is room for others, and the greyer days are usually an invitation to withdraw and spend time with yourself.

The New Moon happens on November 9 at 07:02, with the Sun and the Moon together in Gate 1. It is the best moment of the month to begin something that is truly yours, ideally on your own and away from other people’s opinions, as long as you respect your Strategy and your Authority.

In Gate 2, the Earth gives shape to ideas. It knows how to take a concept and give it structure until it becomes concrete. The risk of this Gate is wanting to control every step and not letting others help. This week, give shape to what you imagine and let someone lend you a hand with the rest.

November 11 to 16: saying what you see

The Sun enters Gate 43 on November 11 at 06:26, Saint Martin’s Day in Portugal, and the Earth enters Gate 23. These are two harmonic Gates, so for these five days the Channel of Structuring is complete in the sky. This Channel connects the Ajna Center, where the mind organises what it perceives, to the Throat Center, where things find a voice.

Gate 43 brings sudden insights. Out of nowhere, you see a situation from an angle nobody around you seems to have noticed. Gate 23 gives that insight a clear and direct way of being said. Together, they bring you sentences that come out before you’ve prepared them and that often hit the mark.

In Portugal, Saint Martin’s Day is celebrated with a magusto, a gathering around roasted chestnuts. Picture it, the chestnuts crackling in the roaster and the conversation flowing freely. At some point, you say out loud something you’ve been noticing for months about your family or about your work. There is a short silence, and then someone laughs because it’s true.

The fear that comes with these Gates is the fear of not being understood. When it takes over, you either explain too much or end up saying nothing. An insight loses strength with every justification you attach to it. Say what you see in few words and with some lightness, and trust that it reaches whoever it needs to reach.

Mercury and Venus move forward again

In Portugal, the sunny days that sometimes appear in the middle of November, when nobody expects them anymore, are called Saint Martin’s Summer. This year they coincide with a turning point in the November transits. On the 13th at 15:53, Mercury stations direct in Gate 28. Shortly after midnight, on the 14th at 00:27, it’s Venus’s turn, in Gate 32.

Mercury had been retrograde since October 24 and Venus since October 3. During these weeks, old conversations came back and relationships and values were put under review, as I described in the October transits. From here on, what stood still has the conditions to move forward.

Gate 28 wants to live life fully and has little patience for lukewarm days. With Mercury moving forward here, you’ll look for conversations with meaning and lose the wish to talk just for the sake of it.

Gate 32, for its part, has a nose for what will last. Venus stations direct in this Gate and helps you sense which relationships, partnerships and commitments have staying power, after weeks of doubt. The fear of this Gate is the fear of failing. Notice whether you’re holding on to something only because you’re afraid of losing it.

November 16 to 22: what you help grow

On November 16 at 20:31, the Sun enters Gate 14 and the Earth enters Gate 8. Gate 14 is the first of three Gates of the Sacral Center that the Sun will cross before early December. The Sacral Center is the engine of life force, the energy that lets you work and keep your rhythm day after day, and from here the November transits revolve around that energy.

This Gate has the ability to make what is good in others grow, whether that’s the work or the wellbeing of the people close to you, and that is also the path through which prosperity reaches you. Notice what you do effortlessly and almost without realising. Perhaps it’s helping a colleague bring order to a presentation, or listening to a friend until he understands what he wants. Very often, that is exactly where your value lies.

There is also an important question for you in these days. What kind of help leaves you with more energy at the end of the day? When you feel doubt or a lack of enthusiasm, it’s a sign that you’re putting energy into a place that doesn’t belong to you.

In Gate 8, the Earth brings your personal taste to the fore, from the way you set the table to the way you present your work. This Gate gains strength when you own that taste without justifying it, even when it doesn’t match what’s in fashion.

The week of yes

Another theme runs through these days. Jupiter has been in Gate 29 since November 2, Mars joins it on the 13th, and the South Node is there until the 24th. Gate 29 also sits in the Sacral Center and is the Gate of yes. When it says yes to something, it gives itself fully and carries it through to the end.

This is the time of year when the invitations to Christmas dinners and the requests at work that always arrive at the last minute begin. With Jupiter and Mars together in this Gate, you’ll feel like saying yes to a lot. Before you do, ask yourself whether your body agrees with what your mouth is about to promise. A yes given without energy behind it is usually paid for later, in tiredness.

November 22 to 27: when the body wakes up

On November 22 at 10:21, the Sun enters Gate 34 and the Earth enters Gate 20. Once again these are two harmonic Gates, and during these days the Channel of Charisma is complete in the sky. Uranus, which spends the whole month in Gate 20, reinforces this connection.

This Channel connects the Sacral Center directly to the Throat Center. Energy moves from the body into action without waiting for the mind, and what you do becomes your way of expressing yourself.

Gate 34 feels good when it achieves things and gains a special strength when it’s doing something it’s excited about. In those moments, you have a glow that draws in the people around you and brings any project to life. This Gate asks you to be a little selfish, in the good sense, and to put your energy into what lights you up.

On the other side, Gate 20 lives in the now. It trusts life, carries lightness and tends to say things as they are, starting by saying them to itself. In these days, notice whether what you’re doing gives you life or simply keeps your calendar full.

Full Moon in Gate 20

The Full Moon happens on November 24 at 14:53, in Gemini, with the Moon in Gate 20 beside Uranus and the Sun in Gate 34. The month that began with the memory of what was left behind arrives here in the present moment. This Full Moon is the high point of the November transits and shows you clearly how you are living your days and whether your energy is going toward what makes you feel alive.

In the early hours of the same day, at 03:32, the North Node leaves Gate 30 and enters Gate 49, and the South Node moves from Gate 29 to Gate 4. With this shift, the Channel the North Node had formed with Pluto in Gate 41 since the end of July comes apart. It carried a collective energy of longing for new experiences and imagining everything that could happen. The Nodes will stay in these new Gates for the coming months.

November 27 to December 3: one step at a time

The Sun enters Gate 9 on November 27 at 23:54, and the Earth enters Gate 16. It is the last of the three Sacral Gates in this cycle, and it closes the November transits with focus.

Gate 9 knows that a small gesture made once leads nowhere, and that the same gesture, repeated every day, builds a momentum of its own until it stops costing you effort. It works like a short walk of ten minutes that, after a few weeks, has become part of your day without you needing to talk yourself into it. The care this Gate asks of you is to put that focus into things you enjoy. Being able to commit to something doesn’t always mean it’s meant for you.

In Gate 16, the Earth brings enthusiasm. It’s the energy that makes you talk about a subject with shining eyes, and its greatest enemy is apathy, that feeling of just going through the motions. Notice where you’re on autopilot. Very often, that is where your enthusiasm is waiting.

On that same day, Black Friday, Venus, now direct, returns to Gate 50, the Gate of Values, at 20:55. Venus rules money and relationships. On a day when everything invites you to buy, the question of this Gate is a useful one: is what you’re about to spend your money and your energy on in line with what you value? The next day, Mercury returns to Gate 43, where it turned retrograde on October 24, and closes that cycle.

The November transits by Energy Type

Generator

As a Generator, you have a defined Sacral Center, and the second half of November will speak to it directly. Between the 16th and the 27th, with Jupiter and Mars in Gate 29, requests and invitations will come your way in waves. Your Strategy is to respond, and your body gives you the answer before your head does, in a sound that rises without thinking. Use that sound before every yes. In the Channel of Charisma, between the 22nd and the 27th, you’ll have energy for a lot, and the satisfaction you feel at the end of the day tells you whether you put it in the right place.

Manifesting Generator

As a Manifesting Generator, you move quickly from idea to action, and November will give you plenty of occasions for it. Between the 11th and the 16th, the Channel of Structuring may have you announcing out loud decisions you haven’t made yet. First check whether your body responds and, when you move forward, inform whoever will be affected. Between the 22nd and the 27th, with the Channel of Charisma, you’ll want to do everything at once. Skipping steps is part of how you work, as long as you go back to see what was left undone.

Manifestor

As a Manifestor, you have an undefined Sacral Center, and that weighs on the second half of the month. The energy of Gates 14, 34 and 9 will reach you from outside and may feel like your own. You may feel you can handle everything until you notice, already in December, the tiredness you’ve built up. The week of Gate 1, with the New Moon on the 9th, is the one that suits you best, and it’s a good moment to initiate something of your own. Before you do, inform whoever will be affected, so you meet less resistance along the way.

Projector

As a Projector, you’ll see a lot clearly this month, especially between the 11th and the 16th, with the Channel of Structuring. The challenge is to hold on to those insights until someone asks for your view, because that is when your guidance is heard and recognised. In the second half of the month, with the Sun in Gates of the Sacral Center, which is undefined in you, the energy around you will be high and easy to mistake for your own. Rest before you reach your limit and choose carefully which invitations you say yes to.

Reflector

As a Reflector, you have all your centers undefined and you feel these transits with more amplitude than any other Energy Type. The lunar cycle begins with the New Moon on November 9 and ends with the New Moon on December 9, and that is the time you need for any important decision that comes up now. At the Full Moon on the 24th, with the Moon in Gate 20, ask yourself which part of everything you’ve felt in recent weeks belongs to you and which part came from the people around you.
